Basketball City hosts the Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation to turn Pier 36 into a food-packing factory to pack meal kits. Sponsored by Draftfcb the 1,000 volunteers prepared 150,000 life-saving meals for Africa famine victims. The volunteers included: NY Jets receiver Plaxico Burress, NY Giant legend Harry Carson, Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara and Sly Fox (mascot of NJ Nets).
